Dr. Jennifer Esbenshade joined Brentwood Children's Clinic in March 2015. Dr. Esbenshade is originally from the Washington DC area, and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Brown University, followed by her MD and MPH degrees at Vanderbilt University. She completed a residency in Pediatrics and then a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases also at Vanderbilt, and is board certified in pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA). Dr. Esbenshade is affiliated with Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and teaches medical students and pediatric residents. Dr. Esbenshade has been taking care of children in Middle Tennessee for several years, most recently at Maryland Farms Pediatrics. She is married to Dr. Adam Esbenshade, who practices Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Vanderbilt, and they have two children.
